ADOR-Submitted Evidence Alleges Min Hee-jin Coordinated NewJeans Fan Messages With Dolphiners Films Statement

Newly highlighted evidence submitted by ADOR in its legal dispute with production company Dolphiners Films has drawn attention online over allegations that former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin coordinated messaging involving NewJeans and their fans.

According to the material cited in the report, Min allegedly received in advance a statement that would later be posted by Dolphiners Films director Shin Woo-seok and forwarded it to the NewJeans members. ADOR’s submitted evidence further alleges that Min instructed the members to voice their frustrations to fans around the time Shin published his statement.

NewJeans members subsequently posted messages to fans in September 2024 expressing distress and frustration over the situation. In one message dated September 2, Minji wrote that she felt frustrated because there was nothing she could do to resolve what was happening and said she hoped the members and Bunnies would no longer have to endure such difficult circumstances.

The dispute traces back to Shin’s announcement that changes under ADOR’s new management meant NewJeans-related videos produced by Dolphiners Films could no longer remain public. Shin said ADOR had requested the removal of content and that planned future projects involving the group could no longer move forward.

The newly circulated material prompted renewed discussion on TheQoo over how closely the public messaging surrounding the dispute may have been coordinated. However, the allegation that Min directed the members’ fan messages comes from ADOR’s interpretation of evidence submitted in the litigation and should not be treated as an independent finding that every statement made by the members was scripted.

Netizen Reactions

The sampled comments were overwhelmingly critical of Min Hee-jin and the people involved in the dispute. Many commenters interpreted the submitted material as evidence of coordinated public messaging, while others criticized NewJeans, their parents, and Dolphiners Films for becoming involved. These comments reflect users’ interpretations of the evidence rather than established court findings.

1. Whoa.
2. This is insane.
3. Min Hee-jin directed the YouTube broadcast too, so of course people are going to think this was her work as well ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹
4. It really hits you again ã…Žã…Ž If they were basically her puppets, didn’t she see the fans as nothing more than suckers too? Weren’t people supporting them even while knowing all this? Or are they just turning a blind eye and calling this fabricated too?
5. The idea that she was encouraging the conflict behind the scenes isn’t even that surprising... What were people saying during the lawsuit? They told them a million times to wake up and stop getting played by Min Hee-jin — except for the Bunnies. Then after losing the lawsuit, didn’t they take shots at Koreans who had worried about them in a foreign media interview, saying people treated them like clueless girls while expecting them to be revolutionaries? And now they expect Koreans to feel sorry for them? They brought this on themselves.
6. Min just uses the people around her, and the people who help her are the ones who end up facing legal consequences while she slips away ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ In a way, she really is something else.
7. Completely out of their minds... They fit right in with the psycho group that’s still obsessively defending them ã…‹ã…‹
8. Nobody else is going to pay your contractual penalties or damages for you, so what possessed them to put themselves on the front line of someone else’s money fight and wreck their own futures? The music video company and the parents aren’t young either—did they not read the contracts? What exactly were they trusting?
9. This is f*cking terrifying...
10. They basically planned everything out in advance and stirred people up.
