South Korean entertainer Yoo Jae-suk canceled a variety show recording on the day of filming after experiencing a high fever and other illness symptoms.
According to TV Report, citing MyDaily, Yoo arrived near Jongno for filming of the SBS variety program 틈만나면, but informed the production team that he was unwell shortly before filming was set to begin. The schedule was then canceled.
A source said Yoo was suffering from a cold, body aches, and a high fever. Although he had gone to the filming location despite feeling ill, the planned segment was ultimately postponed. A staff member said Yoo already appeared unwell when he arrived and apologized to the crew before leaving.
The report described it as the first time since his debut that Yoo canceled filming on the day because of his physical condition. He had previously canceled a recording of You Quiz on the Block in advance after testing positive for COVID-19 in 2021, but the article says he had not previously stopped a scheduled shoot at the location because he was ill.
