Singer Song Ji-eun has resumed her broadcasting activities on a Christian program while her husband, YouTuber Park Wi, remains on hiatus following recent controversy.
On September 14, Song Ji-eun appeared on CBS TV’s Saeropge Haseyo, where Deacon Jin Seong-ae shared the story of losing her eldest son at the age of 17. The episode was hosted by Joo Young-hoon, Song Ji-eun, and Lee Jung-soo. Song Ji-eun also appeared on the program as scheduled on September 7 and continued in her role as a host on the September 14 broadcast. However, it has not been confirmed whether the episode was recorded before or after the controversy involving Park Wi.
During the broadcast, Jin Seong-ae became emotional while speaking about her late son, and Song Ji-eun also broke down in tears. Song Ji-eun thanked her for sharing such a difficult story, saying it felt as though “an angel had passed through this family” and left behind a precious and beautiful path that helped the family continue walking toward Jesus.
She added that hearing the story made her hope that she, too, could leave behind “the fragrance of Jesus” in her family’s life and in the lives of others.
Park Wi and Song Ji-eun married in October 2024.
