Song Hye-kyo Shares Close Friendship Photo with Japanese Makeup Artist Yusuke Saeki

Actress Song hye-Kyo recently shared a friendly photo with Japanese makeup artist Yusuke Saeki.

On September 13, Song posted a black-and-white selfie with Saeki on her personal social media account, writing, “My beloved friend♥.” In the photo, Song is dressed casually in an oversized zip-up hoodie and cap while resting her head on Saeki’s shoulder.

Saeki is a well known Japanese makeup artist, and the two are known to have maintained a longtime friendship.

Meanwhile, Song parted ways with her longtime agency UAA in June after approximately 14 years and is making a fresh start with a new management company.

Her upcoming project is the Netflix original series Slowly and Intensely, which is scheduled for release in the second half of the year. Set against the Korean entertainment industry of the 1960s through the 1980s, the series follows people with little to their names who throw themselves into pursing dreams of success. The cast includes Song Hye-kyo, Gong Yoo, Seolhyun, Cha Seung-won, and Lee Ha-nee.

Netizen Reactions

The sampled comments from Nate News reflect a mixed variety of reactions, including criticism of media phrasing, debates over appropriate boundaries with friends, remarks on personal backgrounds, and notes regarding her upcoming work.

1. If that Japanese guy is a married man, linking arms like that isn't right no matter how close they are.
2. Song Hye-kyo is great and all, but her dating history is way too colorful....
3. If that man is married, his wife probably wouldn't feel too good about that.
4. We don't even know whether he's married, so why are people assuming that and criticizing her?
5. Anyone can do that much, you trash reporter.
6. A reporter calling linking arms "being tucked into his arms" lol
7. If he's a married man, that's doing too much. At least know where to draw the line and live properly...
8. Just live by yourself ~~
9. You can link arms while taking a photo. People have some ridiculous standards.
10. Is that being tucked into his arms? Is the reporter a lifelong solo or what lol ㅋㅋㅋ
