Kim Hee-kyung, the wife of actor Kim Ki-bang, has drawn mixed reactions online after sharing a photo of herself closely hugging actor Zo In-sung.
According to Xportsnews, Kim Hee-kyung recently posted the photo on her social media account, smiling while nestled in Zo In-sung’s arms. She joked that attending premieres and after-parties for his films has become one of her rare opportunities to go out, adding that even after knowing him for nearly 10 years, her heart still races around him.
Her husband Kim Ki-bang responded playfully in the comments, calling it one of her few “legally permitted affairs” of the year and joking that he had even taken the photo himself. Kim Hee-kyung replied by thanking him, explaining that when she was about to give up on waiting in line for the picture, her husband encouraged her to go ahead and offered to take it for her.
Kim Ki-bang and Zo In-sung, who were both born in 1981, are known to be close friends, and Kim Hee-kyung has previously shared photos with Zo In-sung as well.
Many commenters praised Kim Ki-bang for being relaxed about the situation, particularly since he was present and took the photo himself. Others, however, felt the physical closeness was inappropriate for a married person regardless of her husband’s approval. Defenders argued that the people actually involved were comfortable with it and questioned why outsiders were treating the photo as a problem.
Netizen Reactions
The sampled comments were divided, with some users viewing the photo as harmless fan excitement and others arguing that the same behavior would likely be judged differently if the genders were reversed.
