Jang Won-young Praised by Staff for Finishing Schedule Two Hours Early

IVE member Jang Won-young has drawn renewed attention for her professional work ethic after a staff member praised her for finishing a schedule two hours early.

According to Newsen, a social media post from a makeup staff member working with Jang Won-young was shared online on September 15. Alongside a photo of Jang Won-young, the staff member wrote, “Wonyong-ssi... To think you finished two whole hours early today... You’re the best.”

The praise follows another account from about two weeks earlier, when an industry worker described Jang Won-young as easy to work with and highly efficient. According to the comment, a three-hour shoot could be completed in around 40 minutes because she moved into position and prepared poses before being asked, communicated clearly, and stayed focused on the work.

Past remarks from Lee Kyung-kyu have also resurfaced. During Jang Won-young’s appearance on JTBC’s Let’s Eat Dinner Together when she was still a minor, she explained that filming had to end by 10 p.m. and that she had requested a location near her Samsung-dong dorm. Lee Kyung-kyu reacted positively and later told her, “I think you’re going to do well.”

Netizen Reactions

The sampled Nate News comments were mixed, with some praising Jang Won-young’s professionalism and efficiency, while others questioned the renewed attention around the stories or criticized her as a performer.

1. Everyone already knows what her personality is like, so this is just funny.
2. That just means the staff working with her have an easier time, but what does that mean to viewers who are tired of seeing the same expressions and concepts every time? Everyone works to make money and have more of their own time. It’s not like she’s sacrificing herself or doing volunteer work, right?
3. The obvious viral marketing is starting up again these days... Jang Won-young, the opposite of Bamti = another viral push after that Shanghai butter rice cake nobody eats. On stage, instead of thinking about singing well, she only thinks about how to pose prettily, so of course her posing keeps improving.
4. Female commenters, please refrain from leaving malicious comments.
5. They’ve been pushing viral content with this lately. It’s so obvious that these kinds of posts suddenly started appearing after the airport incident, when there was nothing like this before ã…‹ã…‹
6. I give up. You’re the boss.
7. Jang Won-young is the best, as expected.
8. Isn’t this less of a heartwarming “good deed” story and more just that she’s professional and good at her job?
9. The more those haters lose it, the more it seems like she’s living well and looking great. She must be doing just fine.
10. A total pro at work. The opposite of Bamti, as always.
